France 04 – Normandie – Südliche Normandie 05.2014
Nach dem ersten kleinen Unwetter liefen dann auch ein paar sehr kleine Wellen um die Gegend von Siouville ein. Zu klein für die Spots. Campiert haben wir dann in der Dünenlandschaft um Hatainville. Leider wurde fast jede kleine unser Wanderungen von einem Regen beendet oder wir mal wieder durchnässt. Etwas longboarden, ein Hügel findet sich ja schließlich immer. Schöne buchten am Ende der Normandie. Dann ging es mit dem Kloster Mont St. Michel auch schon langsam der Bretagne zu. Ein Franzose baute das Kloster auf einer Felsinsel, was ihm der heilige Michael im Traum aufgetragen hat. Da war dann auch was los. Besinnlich ist das Kloster so nicht mehr. Wir liefen über eine Straße zu der Insel bzw. Kloster und mit dem Bus zurück.
After a small storm we saw some tiny waves at Siouville. Too small for the spots around. We camped at a dune area near Hateinville. We get wet at nearly every hiking tour. So we joined the beautiful bays at the normandies south end and done some longboard action down the hills. At the end at the normandie we visit the Mont St. Michel. A French guy was building a cathedral at the bottom of a tiny rock island, after he saw the holy St Michel in his dreams, who give him the job. It was too busy. We walked on a street to the island and drove back by bus
